Rachael was born in a Princess Town, Trinidad, to a Christian family as the 3rd of 7 children. Rachael comes from a family of church leaders and pastors from the family lineage named Chadee in Princess Town, Trinidad, and was born on October 6th, 1973, in a country and time where ethics and morals were much different than they are now in America.
From an early age, Rachael was immersed in church life. Encouraged—more as a duty than a choice—she participated in worship by playing guitar, which laid the foundation for her growth as a skilled and versatile self-taught musician. She eventually mastered several instruments, including piano, guitar, and steel pan.
Her education in Trinidad was modeled after the British system, emphasizing reading, writing, arithmetic, and biblical values. This educational system also included British grammar and the metric system (e.g., “colour” vs. “color,” “tyre” vs. “tire”). It was during her childhood that her pastor prophesied she would one day serve the Lord as a minister.
Rachael’s home in Trinidad became a place of worship and spiritual growth, hosting youth services and community events. As she reached adulthood, she sought greater opportunities and decided to move to the United States, joining family members who had already relocated to New York City.
After living in Queens, NY, and adapting to the fast-paced American lifestyle, Rachael moved to Boca Raton, Florida, in February 1999. There, she met her future husband, Wayne Williams, a budding journalist and writer originally from Missouri. Though quiet and reserved by nature, Rachael had a gift for connecting with others.
Wayne and Rachael married in an intimate ceremony in Hawaii on April 16, 2004. Their wedding was officiated by a singing Hawaiian minister who serenaded them with a ukulele and the song, “I Can’t Help Falling in Love with You.”
The couple believed their meeting was divinely orchestrated—two souls from vastly different worlds brought together by God’s plan. Together, they shared a calling to draw people to Christ through their spiritual gifts—Rachael through music and ministry, and Wayne through writing and testimony.
Wayne has a powerful story of healing and grace, having received a life-saving kidney transplant just four days after being placed on the donor list. He also survived what was recorded as the highest blood sugar level ever at Boca Medical Center—a testament to God’s mercy.
Rachael felt a long-standing call to establish a foundation to support the neglected and underserved. She received her ordination from Christian Ministries International (CMI) in Boca Raton, Florida, and answered the call of ministry wholeheartedly.
In April 2023, she led her first mission trip back to Trinidad with a team of 18 individuals, ministering at The Oasis in San Fernando. She is the Founder and Owner of Acts 1-8 Initiative, a ministry dedicated to outreach and evangelism.
Today, Rachael leads a team of 23 people in Trinidad and Tobago, organizing multiple crusade events and hosting her first Women’s Conference, furthering her mission to bring the love of Christ to communities across the islands.
As they continue to walk in faith, Rachael and Wayne believe that although God’s full plan remains a mystery, they are guided daily by His divine purpose—serving as His hands and feet to fulfill His will on earth.
